About the Academy
YRA Webike Team Norick is a Yamaha on-road racing academy. It is run by Team Norick, a group that has developed world-class riders. Director Mitsuo Abe recreates the methods he learned in joint training with the world's top riders in Europe at Tsukuba Circuit — a structured new program carrying on the lineage of Team Norick graduates.
Coaching
Built around Director Mitsuo Abe's methods, hands-on coaching is led by active riders competing at the All Japan Road Race Championship level. By having front-line riders demonstrate the right technique, we pass on not just skill but the attitude of "building speed the right way" to the next generation (coaching riders vary by session).
